Fields of expertise: Invertebrate taxonomy and ecology, freshwater and brackish water bioindication

Keywords: Invertebrates, bioindication, water, soil

Current research topics

I am involved in all SAS research projects that require assessment of invertebrate biodiversity.

My interests include the bioindicator value of communities in different contexts, from field soils to river benthos and the hyporheic zone. I am also working on the secondary production of communities as an ecosystem service in the context of aquaculture.

Current projects
  • SOERE PRO, EFELE: Site long-term biodiversity survey (2011 - )
  • SOERE ACBB: Long-term biodiversity survey (2011 - )
  • SIMTAP: Development of multitrophic brackish water aquaculture systems (2019 - 2021)
  • SEPURE: Development, testing and environmental assessment of freshwater multitrophic fisheries (2020 - 2022)
  • ORE AgrHys: Long-term ecological quality survey (2017 - )
