Activities

I manage several IT structures dedicated to the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) group of SAS and the MEANS platform. The objective of these structures is to provide and guarantee a set of services to internal and/or external users:

• A development platform for the MEANS development team
• The MEANS-InOut web application, which facilitates specification of sequences of agricultural practices, a preliminary step in performing LCAs.
• Several versions of the SimaPro LCA software and a set of databases.

In addition to this main task of system administration, I design and build databases. The objective is to organize, homogenize and disseminate the data produced by the researchers in various forms (e.g. spreadsheets, LCA). This database organization improves consultation of data by complex queries and ensures security by granting access rights.
