Ph.D. subject: Agronomic and climatic drivers of dissolved C, N and P flows.
Effects of winter cover crops and application of methanisation digestates.

The regulation of dissolved carbon (C), nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) flows from agricultural soils to aquatic environments and of C storage in mineral soil horizons is rarely assessed simultaneously despite its importance for the health of ecosystems and human beings. Closing the cycles of these elements is a major issue for developing sustainable economies in territories. Currently, these scientific issues are rarely studied from the perspective of assessing multiple elements and ecosystem services. The DEDICASS project, of which the thesis is part, aims to characterize agronomic drivers of flows of dissolved C, N and P by focussing on the influence of methanisation digestates and winter cover crops. It will contribute to the evaluation of new agricultural production systems that use products from the methanisation process.
